If you did not skate with Scarsdale Hockey this season- you need to provide a release form from your current Travel Club.

U8 to U12 must register by 3pm on March 7th.

SYHA 8U 2023 SKATE-A-THON

3:10 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 @ WSA

We are very excited to host our 1st annual SYHA 8U team-wide Skate-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, March 11 from 3:10 - 4:20 PM at Westchester Skating Academy (WSA).

This event is intended to be an activity of fun, fellowship and fundraising. The goal of the skate-a-thon is to help pay for incremental 8U program costs (tournament fees, new padded rink dividers, goalie gear, ice time, paid coaches) as well as to raise funds for a worthy organization – Ice Hockey in Harlem.

Skaters will raise funds by collecting sponsorships (or donations) in advance based on either a challenge goal (number of completed laps) or by family and friends making a one-time donation in the amount of their choice. Then, during the event, every skater will have 45 minutes to skate around the ice as many times as possible. Individual skaters must raise a minimum of $200.

All skaters will receive swag at the door.  Skaters that raise the most pledges will receive additional prizes.

Prizes may include: Week of Hockey Camp at Erik Nates, Week of Summer Hockey camp at WSA, Three 1 year membership for on/off ice training video from iTrain Hockey, training sessions from Alex Post and our own JJ Michaels, skate sharpening packages from Peck's, NHL tickets, Bauer stick (value $200.00), signed memorabilia and so much more!! 

The more you raise the bigger the prize!

This Free Skate is for NEW players only.  Open to players 2016 birth year or older.  No prior skating experience necessary.  Full Equipment required (limited loaner equipment available).  Skate is held at Westchester Skating Academy in Elmsford.
